Higher Achievement

Greater Washington, DC

Higher Achievement seeks to build a world where every child’s promise and potential are realized, regardless of circumstance.  To do so, Higher Achievement gives scholars supplemental academic support in communities that lack the resources to start all students on equal footing.

The WFF has proudly supported Higher Achievement since 2005.  Grant awards to date:  ~$635,000.

“Higher Achievement is grateful for our partnership with the Webber Family Foundation. The multi-year grant has enabled us to better reach our goals of top high school placement for middle school scholars in the DC metro area. With this support, we were able to improve our programming by updating our curriculum in STEM and humanities and codifying our social-emotional work.”
